Zona Gale Rutherford Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zona Gale Rutherford in Bethany, Illinois, who passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ziems and Margaret Ziems (Orton); her husband Richard; and her siblings, Allan, Michael and Loni.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Gassman (Dale) and Robert Rutherford (Courtney); her grandsons, Hayden and Alex Rutherford; her in-laws, Jeannie and Bill Walters; and her sister Katherine Brightman (Gary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
