He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dale Olson and Lucy Kolodji Olson; his wife Katherine Olson of Biggsville; his sons, Travis Olson (Clifford) and Shane Olson (Tina); his grandchildren, Brittany, Amber, Vanessa, Adrianna and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Braelynn, Avalon, Indie, Jennings, Kolson and Ike; and his brothers, Jerry Olson (Theda), Bob Olson (Lora), Rick Olson and Jackie of Biggsville, IL.. He was also cherished by friends and family.

A memorial fund is established for the Biggsville Ambulance Service or the Henderson County Home Health care.
