She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelbert Joseph and Lula Belle Mecum (Martin); her husband Gary L. Buchanan (Buck); and her siblings, Edward, Francis, Wilma and Dot.
She is survived by: her children, Wade Buchanan (Christina) of Long Lane, Missouri, Dawn Buchanan of Monmouth and Tawnya Rotz (Buck Morrison); her brothers, Jim Mecum (Marcia) of Florida, Ben Mecum (June) of Swan Creek and Roger Mecum (Diane) of Grinnell, Iowa; Shirley Ann Hastings (Raymond) of Kirkwood, Illinois.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
