She was predeceased by : her parents, Ervan L. Magee and Emma McPeak Magee; and her husband Earl Oaks, Sr.. She is survived by : her daughters, Kay Oaks of Monmouth and April Dowell (Bill); her sister Carol Thompson of Oquawka, Illinois.; her grandson Jason Oaks of Monmouth; her sons, Earl, Jr. and Les Oaks; her grandson Dennis; and her sister Betty.

A memorial fund is being established for either Biggsville United Methodist Church or Henderson County Humane Society.
