He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Cox and Pauline Cox (Lindsey); his wife Mary "Christine" Campbell; his sister Arlene; and his brother-in-law Herb Hibler.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Wade (Brian) of Arlington Heights, IL and Marvin Cox (Debbie) of Danville, IL; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Cox of Chicago, IL and Billy Wade of Arlington Heights, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
