Anthony Victor "Tony" Frank Sr. age 85 of Bloomington, IL passed away at 4:17 PM on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at his residence. He will be cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. There will be no visitation. The family suggests memorials be made to his wife Jeannette Frank 604 W. Chestnut St, Bloomington, IL 61701.
Tony was born June 14, 1936 in Bloomington, IL the son of Anthony Simon and Violet Lyons Frank. He married Jeannette Jenkins on June 29, 1957 in Bloomington, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are 4 children, Jodi (Jeff Meints) Frank, Lexington, IL, Joseph Frank, Bloomington, IL, Shannon Liska, Bloomington, IL, Misty (Brent Wolber) Frank, Nashville, TN, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mary (Walt) Fowler, Normal, IL, Shirley Peek, Stanford, IL, 3 brothers, William " Billy" Frank, Mackinaw, IL, George (Sue) Frank, Bloomington, IL, Ivan (Jerry) Frank, Danvers, IL.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Anthony Frank Jr., grandson C.J. Durbin, 3 sisters, Donnabell Frank, Dolores Hinderlider, Jeanette Heck and 1 brother, Harry Frank.
Tony had retired from General Electric, Bloomington, IL. He enjoyed, hunting fishing, cards, gambling and junking with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him.
