Betty Lou Holmquist Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Holmquist of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Clifton and Beatrice Schuyler O'Dell; her husband Charles Edward Holmquist; and her siblings, Jean Payne, Patsy McLean-Downing, Robert, Francis and Jack O'Dell.

She is survived by: her children, Kerry Van Gundy (Larry) of Bloomington, IL and Edward Holmquist (Dawn); her grandchildren, Ashlee Goettsche (Rick), Aaron Van Gundy (Christine), Ryne Holmquist, Britain Holmquist, Chloe Wallace and Caitlyn Wallace; her great grandchildren, Spencer, Grace and Glory; and her sister Gloria Vogt (Jim) of Caldwell, ID. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to Gideons International, Alzheimer's Association, or Living Stone Communities.
