He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman F. Mittelstaedt and Bernadine Mittelstaedt (Buckles); and his siblings, Betty Hall, Herman, Jr. and Tom.
He is survived by: his brother John Mittelstaedt; and his sibling's children, Joanie Price, Cory Price, Kyle Price, Isabella Price, Fred Mittelstaedt and Mark Mittelstaedt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (801 S Madison St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
