She was predeceased by: her father Michael Meier, Jr.; and her son Justin Scharf. She is survived by: her mother Delores Johanson (Elgean); her husband Joseph A. Scharf; her children, James Scharf (Loren Strange), Joshua Scharf (Stephanie), Jacqueline Sprague (Patrick) and Jessica Scharf (Brian Bantle); her grandchildren, Raelynn, Alivia, Joseph, Michael and Hannah; and her siblings, Conni Meier, Darrell Meier and Dennis Meier (Shawn).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to March of Dimes or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
