We announce the death of Charles Wilburn (Bloomington, Illinois), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 95. Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wilburn and Ellen Wilburn; his son Steven Charles Wilburn; and his great grandchild Boston Christopher Daugherty. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Sheehan); his brother Kenny Smith (Vicki); and his children, Mike Schwarzentruber, Sue Glesing (Dean), Kevin Wilburn and Sheila Kletz. He is also survived by 16 grand children, 22 great-grand children and 2 great- great grand children.
