He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Scarbrough and Ruth Scarbrough (Vollbracht); his brother Ron; his sister-in-law Joanne Scarbrough; his aunts and uncles, Virgil, Lula Scarbrough, Russell and Mabel Vollbracht; his great-uncle Bob; his great-aunt Leoda Vollmer; and his cousin Kent Vollbracht.

He is survived by: his significant other Mary Shultz; his daughters, Andrea Scarbrough and Stephanie Rollen (Scott); his grandchildren, Justin Rollen (Kate Jasper) and Audrey Rollen (Danni Wilcox); his niece Jill; his nephew Mark Scarbrough; his cousin Steve Vollmer; his great-niece Denise Vollbracht Wiewel; his great-nephew Terry Vollbracht; and his pet Millie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
