He was predeceased by: his parents, John K. Stauffer and Alice R. Dohrs Stauffer; and his siblings, John Stuaffer and Alice Martin. He is survived by: his wife Diana Goelzer Tarter; his stepson Bryan Chesnut (Kelly); his brothers, Paul Stauffer (Marcia) and Daniel Stauffer; and his mother-in-law Margie Goelzer-Bane of Bloomington, IL..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
