He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Mae (Jones) and Cozeene Triplett; his sons, Andrew Baker and Julius Triplett; and his brothers, Cozeen Triplett Jr., Alvin Triplett and Donald Triplett.

He is survived by: his children, David Crudup, Keshia Pittman, Brian Crudup, Danielle Daniel, Darrin Triplett, Joshlyn Thigpen, Carlos Sims, Marion Haywood, Ayyanna and Aliyyah Nailing; his siblings, Robert Triplett and Yvonne Stokes; and his aunt Bettye Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
