She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin J. Hauptman and Velma F. Hauptman (Mullinax); her brother Martin Hauptman; her brother-in-law Michael Flynn; and her nephew Dan Flynn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jerrilyn Flynn of Bloomington and John Hauptman (Deborah) of Morrison; her sister-in-law Margaret Hauptman of Sylvania, OH; her nieces and nephews, Brian Flynn (Jesse), Jeff Flynn (Ana), Jennie Hoekstra (Tom), Kevin Flynn (Meagan), Kelly Delaney (Paul), Reed Hauptman, Scott Hauptman (Brittany), Libby Seiffert and Katie Turner (Casey); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Harrison, Graham, Lily, Carter Hoekstra, Parker, Riley, Dylan Flynn, Celeste Garcia Flynn, Seamus, Nicola Flynn, Campbell Delaney, Jackson, Anna, Luke Hauptman, Tanner, Ryan Hauptman, Andrew Seiffert and Charlotte Turner.
During the pandemic in an effort to stay connected with her family, she began sending her "joke of the day" which often contained rather corny humor, but brought a smile to the faces of everyone who received it.
She was a member of the Moriah Foundation and was active in ministry with the prayer team and lay counseling.
