With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald W. Wood of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Petersburg, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wood and Faye Carmen Wood; his sons, Martin and John Wood; and his great grandchild Savannah Wherry.
He is survived by: his children, Andy Wood (Kathy) and Teresa Wood (Lisa) of Louisville, KY; his daughter-in-law Denise Wood; his granddaughters, Lucretia Wherry (Brett), Deena Wood (Natalie) and Sarah Wood; his great grandchildren, Caleb and Cooper Wherry; and his siblings, William Wood (Nancy) and Deena Stuhmer of El Cajon, CA.. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to be made to the Miracle League of Central Illinois, McLean County Animal Control or to the charity of the donor's choice.
