She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon E. Dahlstrom and Leona M. Dahlstrom (Frey); her husband Carl Ipsen; her sister LaVerne Smith; and her grandson Jeff Ipsen.
She is survived by: her children, Steven (Lisa), Julie (David), David (Ann), Beth (Martin), Paul Ipsen (Barb) and Cathy Herrmann (Kevin); her grandchildren, Carolynne Scott (Brian), Stephanie Connor (Doug), Amy Wilson, Zachary Wilson (Rachel), Todd Ipsen (Emily), Caleb Walsh, Cassie Ramsey (Keith), Candi Paxton (Ryne), Sierra Herrmann and Haley Herrmann; and her great grandchildren, Alex Scott (Claire), Kaitlyn Scott, Declan Connor, Isla Wilson, Cedar Ipsen, Oakley Ipsen, Kylie Ramsey, Jackson Ramsey, Logan Ramsey, Aiden Paxton and Gage Paxton. She is also survived by her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1617 E Emerson St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Church Youth Ministry in memory of Doris Ipsen, 1617 E. Emerson, Bloomington, Il 61701 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
