It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon J. Hinshaw of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Rural, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Deane and Kathryn Adaline Hinshaw (Weidinger); his siblings, James, George, Dean, Mary Wade, Kathryn Kerber and Mildred Hinshaw (Ree); and his stepson Marvin D. Whitecotton.

He is survived by: his wife Jessie Lemons; his children, Ken Hinshaw (Bonnie), Judith Curtin, Deborah Mehlberg (Steven) and E. Jeff Hinshaw; and his stepchildren, Patsy Whitecotton, Danny Whitecotton (Doris) and Terry Whitecotton (Becky). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic School in Bloomington.
