The passing of Eleanor Ann Monninger (Bloomington, Illinois) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 100. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie McKee and Wilma McKee (Shupe); her husband Robert C. Monninger; her daughter Janet; her son-in-law Rick Bremner; her siblings, John McKee (Dorothy), Betty Lybarger (Melvin) and James McKee (Lucy); and her grandson Robert Monninger.
She is survived by: her sons, James Monninger (Andrea) of Bloomington, IL and Carl Monninger (Diana) of Normal, IL.; her grandchildren, Stacia McCorkle (Kevin), John Monninger, Erin Ramson (Jack), Cari Klein (Nick), Carlie McDermott (Chris), Zach Barr (Larissa), Robert Bremner (Michelle) and Kelsey Walker (Phil); her great grandchildren, Skyler Reffett, Kathern McCorkle, Jessica Bracken, Elise Carter, Alex, Ryder, Gavin Ramson, Carter, Levi Klein, Mollie, Robert McDermott and Lyla Walker; her great great grandchildren, Jaxson and Jace Bracken; and her brother-in-law Mel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial (1104 N Main St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Eleanor requested that donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital and The National WWII Museum in New Orleans.
