He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle D. Gilmore and Lerttie L. Savage Gilmore; his wife Carole Sue Guethle; and his brother-in-law Clark Strader. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Gilmore (Cathy Toon) of Bloomington and Chad D. Gilmore (Ann) of Bloomington; and his siblings, Merle Gilmore (Beverlee) of Morton and Gertrude Strader of Ypsilanti, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
