Florence M. Schopp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence M. Schopp of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Roseville, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Winkler and Winifred Winkler (Wager); her spouse Alvyn J. Schopp; her daughter Coleen Mays; and her son-in-law Roger Winterland.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn McBroom (Ron) of Genoa, Camilla Winterland of Girard, Connie Koerner (Gary) of LeRoy, Alvyn Schopp (Joanne) of Highlands Ranch, Russell Schopp (Jana) of Bloomington and Bob Schopp (Julie) of LeRoy; and her son-in-law Ron Mays of Springfield. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be left to the Community Cancer Center in Normal or to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Downs.
