She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm Harms and Rachel Schneider Harms; her husband William B. Lawrence of Paul's Lutheran Church; her siblings, Ruth Hauptman and Robert Harms; her son-in-law Tom Swank; her niece Paula Hagar; and her nephew Jimmy Harms.

She is survived by: her children, William "Tom" Lawrence of Naples, Paul Lawrence (Helen Ogar) of Lake Bloomington and Ann Swank of Canton, Georgia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
