With solemn reverence, we commemorate Frances L. Davis (Bloomington, Illinois), whose life came to an end on July 19, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sprau and Elsie Schultz Sprau; her brothers, George, Earl and Lyle Sprau; and her son-in-law Rev. Marvin Lorenz.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin "Bud" Davis; and her children, Rev. Jim Davis (Cynthia), Ruth Wilt (Dave) of Columbus, OH, Mary Lorenz of Luzerne, IA and Dr. John Davis of Gainesville, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Transitions Hospice of Bloomington, or Home Sweet Home Mission in Bloomington.
