It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaspare Pirrello of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Pirrello and Aurelia Pirrello; his godparents, Grace Fratali and Anthony Orlando; his uncle Frank; his aunt Millie Urso; his brother-in-law Peter Anthony Scalia; and his niece Annalisa Marie Scalia.
He is survived by: his godfather Joseph DeCillis; his siblings, Katherine Marie Scalia and Mario Joseph Pirrello (Michele); his former wife Mary Renee Pirrello; his brother-in-law Tim Baker (Edward Baker); his niece Catherine Jeanette Wettengel (Brian); his nephews, Dominic Peter Pirrello, Alexander Michael Pirrello (Samantha) and Christopher Leonard Pirrello (Brittani); and his grandchildren, James Thomas, Liam Wayne, Allison Kathleen, Emma Aurelia Wettengel and Amara Scott Pirrello. He is also survived by Mother, his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
