It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys B. Barnes of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Syracuse, Utah, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard M. Bambrough and Adelina Hakenson Bambrough; her daughter Victoria Waterson; and her siblings, Clark, Russell, Nuel Bambrough, Bernice Green, Ina Williams and Louise Mickey.

She is survived by: her children, Marvin C. (Linda), Matthew C. Barnes (Kim) of Bloomington, IL, Elizabeth Sharpless (Doc Goodell) of Kennewick, WA and Sue Ann Johnston (Frank) of Bloomington, IL; and her brothers, Gordon E. "Dutch" Belnep and Paul T. Bambrough. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Western Avenue community Center, Bloomington, IL.
