She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Simmons and Ethel Simmons (Piercy); and her husband William "Bill" E. Summers. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebekah Schneider (Ron) and Phyllis Summers; her grandchildren, Julie Cedeno (Alex), Jason Schneider (Melissa), John Schneider (Allison) and Hannah Summers; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Felix Cedeno, Charlie, Nolan Schneider, Franklin and Daphne Schneider; and her brothers, Tom Simmons (Ginny) and Dan Simmons.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
