He was predeceased by: his father Everett Jr. Goad; and his brother James Goad. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly of Mahomet; his children, Braden Bergstalh of Louisiana, Logan Goad of Bloomington, Levi Goad of Chenoa and Kaitlyn Caputo (Jacob) of Atlanta; his mother Alice Broadfield (Russell) of McLean; his siblings, Valentina Hall (Michael) of Island Lake, Angela Scott (Randy) of Huntley, Latasha Vergowe (Tyler) of Bloomington, Jeremy Goad of Bloomington and Travis Bains Bloomington (Simone); and his grandchildren, Asher Bergstralh, Grace Caputo and Faith Caputo. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial (1104 N Main St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Destihl Brewery and Beer Hall in the Barrel Room (1200 Greenbriar Dr, Normal, IL 61761). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Funks Grove Cemetery (7054 E 535 North Rd, McLean, IL 61754).
Memorial contributions may be made in Jason's memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
