Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jim Smiley of Bloomington, Illinois, born in San Jose, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 83, on June 27, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenas Smiley and Opal Smiley. He is survived by: his daughters, Tangie (Benjamin Sheets), Tiffany (John Quindry) and Toni (Adam Kolls); his grandchildren, Caymen, Koke, Calvin, Brice, Kendall, Karizma and Jackson; his wife Carol; his children, Angie, Jeffery Stewart, Kim Emmett and Anne René Elsbree; and his grandchildren, Jeffery Stewart, Debbi, Jennifer Holliday and Brandon. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Eastview Christian Church, Normal, IL.
