He was predeceased by: his parents, Kanjibhai Patel and Sitaben Patel; and his child Kuleen Patel. He is survived by: his wife Savita Patel; his children, Arti Kamatar (Vijay), Subie Kniery (Dan), Suji LaBine (Lee) and Amit Patel (Karen); his grandchildren, Michael (Kaitlyn), Patrick (Olivia), Kevin (Katie), Advika (Ben), Rohan, Alok, Asha, Harrison, Thomas, Meera, Kate and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Evelyn, Cooper, Grady, Graham and Ivy.
