Joan Coan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025, at the age of 85, Joan Coan of Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Coan to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Veselock and Alberta Butler Veselock. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Kelly (Charlie) of McLean and Tony Bryant (Michelle) of Danvers; her stepdaughter Stacy Day (Kerry) of Normal; her grandchildren, Kyle Day (Kelly), Nicole Day (Nick), Chase Day (Chelsea), Jeremy Miller (Donnie), Dylan Codding (Jasmine), Taylor Casino (Mitch), Sawyer Codding (Morgan) and Kylie Thompson (Tylor); and her sister Judy Swick (Sonny) of Bloomington. She is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and countless close friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home (1800 Eastland Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carle Hospice.
