It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Hayes of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gene Thomas and Mary Lois Cassady Hayes; his brother Terry Hayes; his children, Kim Hayes (Scott Stella) of Bloomington and Greg Hayes (Marie Casteel) of Champaign; and his siblings, Kathi Franklin (John) of Lexington, Julie Simpkins (Doug) of Bourbonnais, IL and Tom Hayes of Milwaukee, WI.. He was also cherished by four grandchildren.
