She was predeceased by: her parents, H. L. "Tyne" Mecherle and Pearl Evelyn Mecherle; her husband C. Weslie Philpott, Sr.; her sister Vicki Mecherle; her nieces, Bethany Sampson (Vince) and Misty Vance; and her pet Lady.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Lowell Romani (Cam) of Bloomington and Timothy Derrick Romani (Angie) of Greenwood Village, Colorado.; her grandchildren, Alyssa Romani Fenoglio, Carly Romani Elmgren, Jacob Romani and Juliana Romani; her great grandchildren, Maya Elmgren, Michael Fenoglio, Dominica Romani and Gianna Holman; and her stepchildren, Becky Ehrlich, Weslie Philpott Jr. and Rick Philpott.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (106 W Chestnut St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
She supported the Local and National Humane Societies, the Save the Manatee Foundation, and the World Wildlife Fund.
