He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Mary Bandish Yanzy; his former wife Patricia Ann Beenders; and his brother John Janczy. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee McGhee; his son Scott Yanzy (Melissa); his stepchildren, Chris McGhee (Shelley) of Oakland, Kerby McGhee of Oakland, Kalvin McGhee (Jodi) of Oakland and Kari McGhee; his granddaughter Corinne Yanzy; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Annie, Billy, Dylan, Kaia McGhee and Carley Peterson (Ross); and his caregivers, Angie, Amanda, Aletta, Beth, Marilyn and Ken.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Brain Foundation.
