She is survived by : her siblings, Vinnetta Mayfield, Patsy McNeal, Gloria Crews, Ernestine Lemon, Laura A Burns, Edith Bayliss, Sally Campbell, Alonzo Wilcher, Leo Wilcher, Cecil Tidwell, Walter Burns and Martin Wilcher; her children, Latoya Burns of Decatur, IL, Devenless Burns of Bloomington, IL, Lamar Burns of Decatur and Latia Brianna Tullus of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Ma'Ry'Jah Jones, Ja'Varius Jones, Sanya Jones, Ky'Torria Tullus, Kordè Tullus, Kali Tullus, Masiah Burns, Jakiyah Kapri Burns, Janiyah Sincere Burns, Armoni Zaniyah Burns, Devenless Burns Jr., Kylin Aiden Irons, Kaydon Alan Irons, Riyah Alise Burns, Riley Ariel Burns, Railyn Amina Burns, Kashius Amir Burns, Kyrese Amar Burns, Kyrel Amon Burns and Ja'Laiyah Amina Kapri Walker. She is also survived by one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews' relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the East Lawn Funeral Home (1102 Airport Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
