He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Benckendorf and Dorothy Benckendorf (Meredith); and his brother Roger Benckendorf. He is survived by: his sister Marcia Amell; his sister-in-law Fran Benckendorf; and his spouse Jamie Lucas.
