Larry Watson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Watson (Bloomington, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Watson and Dollie Watson; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Lea Ann; his daughter Brooke Hermanowicz (Dave Wiltz); his granddaughter Mia Trudo; his siblings, Alan Watson (Donna), Michael Watson (Donna Traxler), Mark Watson, Angela Watson, Maurice Watson and Anita Tillman (Jason); his siblings' children, Tasha Bounds, Drew Watson (Britiany Skinner), Marcus Watson (Kati Snow), Joseph Beck, Brandon Beck (Revalynn), Dante Tillman (JC) and Jataun Tillman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, MJ, Nariyah, Bailee, Trey and Makhi. He is also survived by many extended family members including brothers and sister-in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home (1800 Eastland Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (527 W Jackson St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
