He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis W. Brown and Elizabeth J. Brown; his brother Thomas J. Petersen; and his grandson Ethan W. Brown. He is survived by: his brother Joe (Bill); and his children, Guy Courtney Brown of Iron Mountain, MI, Gwen Carolyn Miller (Matthew) of Normal, IL and Jennifer Lind Bacon of Williamsburg, VA.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bloomington VFW (1006 E Lincoln St #2, Bloomington, IL 61701).
