Louis R. Hunteman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louis R. Hunteman of Bloomington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hunteman and Minnie Deitrich Hunteman; and his siblings, Melvin, Velde and Kathryn Beezley.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine F. Sweet; his son Tony Hunteman (Marlene); his stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Roberts (A. J.), Christy Phillips (Caleb), Amanda Peck (John) and Katie Roberts; and his sister Margaret Glassey. He is also survived by five step great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Northside Church of Christ (1908 N Towanda Barnes Rd, Bloomington, IL 61705).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Minier Christian Church, Minier, where he was a member or Northside Church of Christ, Bloomington.
