We announce the death of Margie L. Casey of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Murrel Casey and Zaralee Casey (Embry). She is survived by: her children, Cory Casey and Shanna McDaniels (Chris) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Bailey Homerding (Bryan Cantwell) of Delavan, Alyssa Casey (Garrett Smith) of Stanford, Hannah Casey (Wes Israel) of Stanford, Colton Casey of Bloomington, Ethan McDaniels of Lexington and Liam McDaniels of Lexington; her great grandchildren, Cory Opal of Stanford and Leroy Murrel of Stanford; her siblings, Hal Casey (Susie) of Heyworth, Paula Arreola of Bloomington, Julie Casey of Bloomington and Jeannie Gaddis of Bloomington; her daughter-in-law Megan Magers of Bloomington; and her stepsiblings, Mike Gaddis (Linda) of North Carolina and Janet Kull (Melvin) of Bloomington.

Margie's family welcomes donations in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a nonprofit she felt passionately about and contributed to over the years.
