She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulogio Gonzalez and Mercedes Arceo Gonzalez; and her husband Rodolfo Alvarez. She is survived by: her children, Evelio Alvarez (Angelina), Eulogio Alvarez (Socorro), Ismael Alvarez (Gloria), Herminia Alvarez of Bloomington, Lidia Luna (Juan) of Bloomington, Leticia Bell of Bloomington and Maria Carlos (Hector). She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or the Illinois Cancer Care, in honor of her late husband, Rodolfo.
