With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha S. Jannusch (Bloomington, Illinois), born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Block and Meta Block (Beckman); and her daughter Kathleen A. Jannusch. She is survived by: her husband Gene Jannusch; her daughter Chris Groth (Steve) of Morton, IL; her grandchildren, Cassidy Griffith (Mark), Adam Groth (Miranda) and Lyndsey Groth (Dan Wild); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Sage, Noah Griffith, Abraham and Elias Groth.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church building fund.

The last time I was there I asked about her and Gene said with tears that she was doing well. She and Gene were a special couple that don't pass our way nearly often enough.
