She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard S. Karpers, and Frances C. Karpers, Sr.; and her siblings, Michael F. Karpers, Paul A. Karpers, Sr. and Sandra Jean Karpers.
She is survived by: her children, Sean Burke (Julie Ann) of Millsboro and Bridgid Burke (Natalie Shaheen) of Towanda; her grandsons, Timothy (Gabriella), Andrew and David; and her siblings, Dr. Bernard S. Karpers, Jr. and Elizabeth F. Swancar. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
