She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph G. Meismer and Louisa M. Meismer (Schoff); and her siblings, Lewis, Harry, Merle, Irwin "Bob", Orville "Tony" Meismer and Erma Myers Coleman (Meismer).
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Eileen Gill, Lisa Gardner (Frank), Phillip Gill (Anne), James P. Gill (Marina), Kathleen Walter (Danny) and Elizabeth Goff (Kevin); her grandchildren, Shane, Sarah Gill, Benjamin, Margaret, Joseph Goff, Allison Walter and Rylee Gill; and her niece Claudia Myers Urech (Alan). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (106 W Chestnut St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Patrick Cemetery (102 County Rd 950 N, Wyoming, IL 61491).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be sent to St. Vincent DePaul Society, Red Cross Central Illinois Chapter, or the St. Francis School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship fund.
