He was predeceased by: his father Guy; his children, Velma and Adrian; and his brothers, Linwood, William and George Amos.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Keith Lashley, Sharon Johnson and Alfreda Renee Lashley; his daughter-in-law Winifred Ashford; and his grandchildren, Justin Lashley, Adrian Lashley, Jr., Dominique Lashley, Darnell Dickerson, Rodney Dickerson, Blair Lashley and Farrell Lashley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family members, church family, neighbors, and friends.
