He is survived by: his former wife Elaine Erlenbusch Bryant; his children, Patrick Cooney (Louise Pihlman-Cooney) of LeRoy, IL, Sean Cooney, Megan Cooney-Jones (Kendell) and Jacob Bryant of Bloomington, IL; his granddaughter Evelyn Cooney of LeRoy, IL; his brother Jeff Cooney; and his close friends, Ron Bryant and Jerry Martin.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
