He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Victor F. and Lila A. (Bartelt); his siblings, Kirby and Alice; and his granddaughter Lila.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth (Thomas); his children, Jennifer (Ryan Niezgoda) and Brad Gerike; his stepsons, Mike Anderson and Tom Anderson (Michelle); his daughter Rachel Barnes; his grandchildren, Sierra, Brendan, Camden, Dawson, Dominick, Briana, Alyssa and Jason; and his siblings, Henry, Tim (Sue) and Roxanne (Mike Heiliger). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations/memorials be made to Good Shepherd in Paul's memory.
