He is survived by: his children, Marlo Bewsey and Brett Wherry (Lucretia); his grandchildren, Kyle Penn (Emma), Caleb Wherry and Cooper Wherry; his brother Jerry Wherry; his half-brother Gary Wherry; his stepbrother Mike Alcorn; and his significant other Beverly Poole.
