He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard H. Gummerman and Hilda J. Ragan Gummerman. He is survived by: his son Geoffrey Kent Gummerman; his wife Verma of Bloomington; his stepdaughters, Sarah Lowrey and Lori Lowrey; his brother Kurt; and his sister-in-law Martha Gummerman. He is also survived by one niece; two nephews; six great nieces; and one great nephew.
Memorial contributions may be made in Kent's memory to OSF Hospice or the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
