He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Plimpton and Ada Morse Plimpton. He is survived by: his children, Beth Maxwell (John) and Jon Plimpton (Bonnie) of Crystal Lake, IL; his grandchildren, Amy Andris (David), Jonathan Maxwell, Alex Plimpton (Jessica) and Sarah Plimpton; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Clay Andris, Wyatt and Henry Plimpton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
