He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Johnson and Carrie Johnson; his wife Roxie Drummer; his children, Polly (LePatrick), Latricia (Rian), Ellis (Davette) and Kenny (Melissa); his son-in-law Cedric Carter; his siblings, Hattie, Emma (Calvin), Maggie, Lucille (Johnny), Lettie and Lonnie (Faye); his siblings-in-law, Eva Lowe and Bill Stubblefield; his daughter Jessie; and his brothers, Ellis, Johnny and Ervin. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
