He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand McGuire and Martha McGuire (Dillon); his wife Elizabeth Miller; and his siblings, Jim, Margaret, Miriam and Ethel.
He is survived by: his son Mark McGuire (Ann); and his grandson Matt McGuire.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvert Metzler Memorial (1115 E Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
Memorials may be made in Richard's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
